Luiz Amorim, Cremona 2022 - copy of the 1743 ‘Brusilow’ Guarneri Del Gesù
This beautiful Guarneri Del Gesú copy by contemporary master violinmaker, Luiz Amorim, is a concert instrument fit for a soloist. It has a massive sound (more powerful than a good majority of authentic Del Gesú violins) with rich, deep maturity beyond its years. With over 30 years of experience, Luiz Amorim carefully selects his wood, the spruce often from the Val di Fiemme (the same forests where the classic Cremonese makers sourced their wood) and the maple from the Balkin regions. He not only reproduces the measurements but also painstaking antiques his instruments, capturing the essence of the originals' patina. Many of today's top soloists and orchestra players are using instruments made by him. Amorim currently has a two and a half year waitlist and owing to his unrivaled success and the high demand for his reproductions, the availability of his instruments is extremely scarce. Now is your chance to jump the line.
