Cellos

Student Cellos
The Paganini line is the best student level instrument (violins, violas, cellos, and basses) available on the market today. All Paganini line instruments are hand carved with a stunning solid maple flamed back, spruce top, commercial oil varnish, “Wittner” (German) tailpieces and real ebony fingerboards and fittings. Each instrument is personally set up using Dominant strings (violins and violas), Jargar and Helicore (cellos) and adjusted to its quintessential state of sound production by Charles Wei Liu and other experienced violin makers in our shop in Midvale, Utah. On-staff professional musicians are involved in this process. The instruments come with a bow, and case (type of bow and case depend upon the instrument purchased). All of our instruments are a beautiful deep reddish/brown color with a warm, handmade tone quality which is pleasing to the ear of the beginning student. Click here to see our selection

Intermediate Cellos
A step up from the Paganini is the Bouvier line of instruments. They are perfect for the more advanced player, i.e. high school students or more advanced younger students. The Bouvier instruments are carved from higher quality woods, boast a gorgeous, highly flamed, one-piece back, and a deep, rich, mellow tone. In the Bouvier line we feature Guarneri violin and viola models, Stradivari and Montagnana models are available in cellos. As a retail violin shop, we realize there are many different tastes among customers. To satisfy the widest variety possible, we now offer other lines of student instruments such as the “Pygmalius” and “Eastman” lines among others. Click here to see our selection.

Professional Cellos
As a professional violin shop we carry a wide selection of rare and contemporary instruments. We have Italian, French, and German instruments as well as many American makers. Click here to see our selection.
